I had always considered the possibility of owning a product based business and really what I loved about that was holding a physical item in your hands that you created. Somehow, someway, wedding stationery design fell into my path and that's where it all made sense.
My branding background benefits my couples when dreaming up and designing their custom suite or designing the semi-custom suites for couples to shop and customize, and two years in the wedding industry—from behind the scenes in marketing and on-site during a couple's most important day—means I understand how all of the different moving parts and pieces plays into the design of your stationery to tell the story for your best day ever.
I have always been a creative, taking interests to arts and crafts, sewing and crocheting since I was in high school. After I graduated, I went on to go to community college with the plans of transferring to a university to get a degree in Marketing—let's just say the world works in mysterious ways.
Fast forward to the beginning of 2019, I was in the process of going through a heartbreak and ended up getting offered a job as a Wedding and Event Coordinator for a venue—the catch? I had NEVER coordinated a wedding before. When my temporary employment had ended with them, I realized how hard it would be to leave the wedding industry, but also that there were SO many more opportunities to discover.
When the year 2020 hit, as many, I was spending a lot of time on my phone and came across someone who was teaching how to start your own branding and website design business.
