why choose to work with studio sotrel?

When you choose to work with Studio Sotrel, you're not just choosing a wedding invitation design studio—
you are also choosing to work with someone who has over five years of experience in the wedding industry.

Working both the coordinating side—giving venue tours to couples, determining on-site details, and leading them through their rehearsal and timeline during the reception—as well as working the catering side managing a banquet team, I am grateful to know more than just paper in this industry.

Understanding first hand the jobs of other vendors gives me an upper hand when it comes to perfectly blending aesthetics with practicality when designing your invitations and day-of paper goods.

As someone who whole heartedly is driven by attention to detail and the desire to provide a collaborative experience when working on something so close to your heart and part of this next chapter in your love story, I look forward to you saying "yes" to working with me and knowing that during our time together, you're in great hands.

I recommend booking your wedding stationer 8-12 months in advance of your wedding date, however, I know that timelines can vary!

I ask for a minimum of 6 months together (3 months for design, production, and assembly with a mail date approximately 3 months prior to your wedding date), however, I can occasionally take on shorter timelines depending on your wedding date and my availability (rush fees apply).

I have a minimum order quantity of 25. I recommend ordering 10 extra sets in the chance that you need to re-send any invitations or have last minute additions.

I recommend sending your save-the-dates 8-12 months in advance of your wedding date, however, there are a few things to keep in mind:

Local Weddings: If the wedding is local to most guests, or only a few guests will need to be arranging travel/accommodations, I recommend sending out save the dates around 8-12 months in advance, but if you’re planning on a tighter timeline, you can send them out as late as 6 months in advance. Anything closer to the wedding date than 6 months, I recommend skipping save-the-dates and adding additional time on to when we send your wedding invitations out.

International Wedding (or most guests traveling): If the wedding is international or in a location where most guests will need to book travel, I recommend sending them out 12 months in advance to allow guests time to start thinking about arranging accommodations, getting time off work, etc.

I know things such as taking trips to the post office and figuring out of amount of postage needed can be a daunting (and sometimes confusing) task and something you probably don't have time for in your busy schedule.

Part of my belief in offering a detail oriented experience is taking on the assembling and mailing of your invitations so you can enjoy all of the other tasks that come along with wedding planning.

Did you know the task of pulling together a flat lay is usually left up to your photographer and they may only have, on average, 15-30 minutes MAX to pull together a flat lay? As a stationer, sometimes I spend a minimum of 3-4 hours prepping and pulling together a flat lay for a wedding or styled shoot.

I am excited to offer the option of On-Site Flat Lay Styling on the day of your wedding which ensures you'll have a beautiful flat lay showcasing the pieces of your invitation suite and allow your photographer to focus on capturing all of the other important moments of your big day!

I currently partner with Flat Lay Library for flat lays to pull items (many of them vintage) that match the aesthetic of your invitation suite and wedding.

Pricing starts at $250 for the service which includes complimentary travel within the Portland-Metro area, I am happy to travel to locations outside of this radius or my home state of Oregon (travel fees apply).
